 Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader

    The document files in this CD are provided in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) format. To read a PDF file you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, developed by Adobe Inc. Please visit http://www.adobe.com for more information.

    If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, CLICK HERE to launch Acrobat Reader (Version 6.0.0.5) for Windows provided with this CD.

    These are the minimum system resources Adobe Reader requires:
    - Pentium®-class processor
    - Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition,Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 6, Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Professional or Home, or Windows XP Tablet PC
    - 32 MB of RAM (64 MB recommended)
    - 60 MB of available hard-disk space
    - Internet Explorer 5.01 or greater is required.
    (The installer creates temporary files during installation so the actual hard disk space required during installation is greater than the values listed above)

    1. Please choose Open to start the setup program.

    2. Then choose Yes in Security Warning message box.

    3. Type "c:\temp" and choose Next to continue with the installation.
    Acrobat Reader will automatically be extracted to a temporary folder and installed on your computer.

    4. Choose Finish to exit the setup and finish the installation.

 Problems Opening PDF files

    If you are having problems opening PDF files please check the following possibilities:

    1. Please check if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, please follow the installation procedure described HERE.

    2. If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed, your security settings may be blocking Acrobat Reader to opened in Internet Explorer.
    You will see the following message in Windows XP Service Pack 2.

    In this case please click on the above message and choose Allow Blocked Content.

    And choose Yes in Security Warning message box.
