Мeasurements implementing by the state about reproduce livestock of camel and protecting the genital fund

Mongolia is having 285.2 thousand camels as of the end of 2001 and becoming 12 th country from the 45 countries of world by the number of camels, 3rd country by the number of camel per one person and 4 th country from the Asian 45 countries.Now , the products of the camel stock of Mongolia is becoming 4% of the total livestock products, inclusive in it, 8 % of the all of tipes of wool and 2-3 % of the meat.The government of the past period has passed decrees ,resolutions and decisions about reproducing the camel stock and improving the usage in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1992, put certain goals have been implementing them through the appropriate priority. The state had qualified camel breeders and agricultural unions that have shown the result in reproducing the camel stock and improve the usage, awarded by the automobiles with the marks ZIL-130 and GAZ-53,traktor with the mark of MTZ-50, brown sandal nose peg decorated with the silver and the nose peg made of silver and also,granted the badge and degrees 'State champion herdsmen' with the purpose to increase the interest and activity to reproduce the camel stock . At the result of the active organization of the activity in the direction of finding the camel of the selected \distinguished\ breed from the camel of Mongolian breed ,strngthen and improve its biological useful characteristics and the stock starting from the end of 1960's, the camel of selected breed have existed and the use was improved. Also, at the result of the measurements taken by the state, creative and efficient work of the national specialists and selected reproduction with the scientific bases, the selected breeds of camels such as red camel of Glbin gobi, brown camel of the Khanin khets and camel with the pair beards have existed.The state is taking the measurements of using the camel stallions and female camel in the reproductions,determining the term and adjustments of the inseminations, gualify the selected stallions and female camels every year,record them in the state reproduction book and use the selected stallions and female camels in the reproduction activity widely. The following national programs were implemented and are under the implementation;'Inproving the quality of the livestock and the reproduction activity and service' approved by the resolution No.105 of the government of Mongolia in 1997,'Health of the livestock' in 1999 ,'Assisting of the protection activity of livestock from the drought and excessive snowy wintwr' in 2001 by the resolution No.47 and 'Selected inseminator' in 2002 by the resolution No.141. The Great hural of Mongolia took measurements to protrct the genital fund and health of the livestock,,create the reproduction fund, use it appropriately and improve the reproduction and restrict to prepare camel for the state centralized consumption, supply the camel meat instead of the other livestock meats and transprot outside from the territory of the certain aimags. The state is organizing the expansion activity to establish the small factories that processes and packs the camel wool, female camel's milk diary products and support and render the assistance to the business entities that are engaged in this activity.
